Laying round corners
  • Ideally you should be able to curve the corner.  You can then continue binding without a break. If the corner has to have an abrupt angle you will have to stop and restart the binding
  • Some stems are nicked part way up to bend them round the corner, whippy stems can just be bent straight round without cutting
  • Use sturdy stakes on the corner and take extra care with the binding to get as even a curve as possible
