Coppicing hazel for hedging stakes and binders, Leighton Buzzard
With lots of hedgelaying orders placed ahead of the start of the season I cut 1600 stakes and 1600 binders in September  ready for the start of the hedgelaying season in October. The hazel also provided masses of hazelnuts; I picked about two washing up bowls full.
