Coppicing hazel for hedging stakes and binders, Leighton Buzzard
With lots of hedgelaying on order, I cut 1600 stakes and 1600 binders for the start of the hedgelaying season. This year the hazel produced masses of hazelnuts; I picked about two washing up bowls full.
