National Hedgelaying Society

The National Hedgelaying Society (NHLS) is the only charity dedicated to maintaining the traditional skills of hedgerow management.

It runs the National Hedgelaying Championships annually which is the perfect opportunity to view various regional styles of hedgelaying in a single location.

The NHLS website has a useful diary and event calendar as well as details of training courses. It also has a list of NHLS affiliated groups which is helpful for locating local hedgelaying contacts.

I have been an accredited contractor member of the NHLS since 2010.
